CLIENT'S DEEDS

Us-Tube is the world's biggest (and fictional) video website. The COO of Us-Tube wants a diagnostics tool to monitor and analyze the real-time data of online users. It doesn't just tell her that a change has happened (such as a dip in viewership), but what the determining variables are for that change.
Determining variables are the variables that most likely caused a change in another variable. Your job is to make a tool that helps people figure out what are the determining variables for an observed change in this online video website. Moreover, officers without data science training should be able to easily monitor data and make decisions with one simple, intuitive, and intelligent dashboard.

RESEARCH METHOD

The most significant goal for UsTube is to find out the determining variable for their traffic change so that they can know why situation happened and make the quickest move to avoid worse damage.
With our design, determining variables is assessed with a simple Alert Index which helps Cleo and other people without data science training to understand what’s happening directly and easily. Meanwhile this app provides scientific tools for data scientists to confirm the index for the determining variables.
